Indiana Rotomolding Seeks Abatement for Expansion in South Bend

From the South Bend Tribune:

Indiana Rotomolding Inc. is planning to add jobs and expand its building north of South Bend Regional Airport.

The custom plastic processor makes crash barrels for highway safety as well as a variety of other small and large hollow products, which it ships up to 800 miles away.

According to a tax-abatement application, the company's $750,000 expansion will add 25,000 square feet to an existing manufacturing facility at 3300 N. Kenmore St.

The expansion will enable Rotomolding to accommodate orders from a large new customer. It also will lead to the creation of at least 20 new full-time jobs with a total payroll of at least $900,000 and maintain 70 existing full-time jobs with a total payroll of $2.5 million.
