A north-side company's $11.8 million relocation to southwest Allen County is expected to create 68 jobs with an annual payroll of about $2.8 million.
In an application for a tax “phase-in” filed with the Allen County Department of Planning Services, ICON Exhibits outlines plans to move from 8333 Clinton Park Drive to land near the intersection of Zubrick and Silverado roads, which is adjacent to the Vera Bradly facility and General Motors' truck assembly plant.

Phase-ins, formerly called abatements, temporarily reduce taxes owed on new buildings and equipment. County Council could consider the application as early as next week. If approved, the company could save about $1.07 million over 10 years.
