Republic Reports PMG Indiana Seeks Tax Abatement for Investment in Columbus

From the Columbus Republic:

A Columbus company is planning a $23 million expansion of its plant on the west side of the city, adding 50 jobs over the next two years.

PMG Indiana Corp. is asking the city for a tax abatement on $5 million in property improvements and almost $18 million in new manufacturing equipment for its plant on Arcadia Drive, off Indianapolis Road, according to a letter sent to the city’s community development office.

The City Council is scheduled to consider the tax abatement request at its meeting tonight.
