Property tax statements for Wayne County property owners have landed in mailboxes for taxes due in 2013.
Statements were mailed April 12, so any owner who has not received a statement should contact the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office at (765) 973-9238.
Spring taxes are due May 10 and fall taxes are due Nov. 12 to avoid late penalties. Wayne County property taxes may be paid using several options:
• At the Wayne County Treasurer’s office, 401 E. Main St.; cash, check or money order accepted.
• Treasurer’s Drop Box (no cash) at the South Fourth Street entrance of the County Administration Building. Payments are picked up daily.
• By mail at Wayne County Treasurer, 401 E. Main St., Richmond, IN 47374.
• At any branch of First Bank Richmond, Wayne Bank and Trust, or West End Bank. Additional fee applied.
• By phone at (888) 983-6438 and follow the instructions. Credit card only, additional fee of 2.95 percent.
