Henry County taxpayers will be receiving their 2012 (pay in 2013) property tax statements in the mail in coming days.
If you or your mortgage company has not received a tax statement by May 1, call the Henry County treasurer’s office at (765) 529-4404.
Spring taxes are due by May 10, and can be paid at the treasurer’s office Tuesday through Friday.
Office hours are 7 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. The office closes at 4 p.m. Fridays.
Payments can also be mailed to P.O. Box 1258, New Castle 47362, or paid at Ameriana, Citizens, First Merchants, Main Source or Star Financial banks.
Not receiving a tax statement does not relieve you from paying your taxes or being assessed a late fee, according to Henry County Treasurer Gene Bundy.
