A raise in the innkeeper’s tax cap is unlikely to happen this year.
There was no bill filed in the Indiana Legislature to raise the innkeeper’s tax in Monroe County by this week’s deadline, and though legislators may still file the legislation as an attachment to another bill, local leaders think 2014 may not be the year for it.
