The state recently put its stamp of approval on a budget that provides no raises for county employees and adds just one new employee.
The certified budget and tax rates — issued by the state Department of Governmental Affairs on New Year’s Day — sets the county’s general fund budget at $9,367,253.
That amount matches the general fund budget approved by the county after lengthy budget sessions this past summer and fall.
