June 4, 2014—TaxTalk Blog
In April, Governor Mike Pence, the Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Revenue announced the Tax Simplification and Competitiveness Conference, taking place in Indianapolis June 24. Now, the state invites all Hoosiers and Hoosier businesses to submit tax simplification suggestions to be heard at the conference.
The tax conference will further Governor Pence’s plans to make Indiana a more competitive state for businesses as well as examine simplification ideas that can make filing and paying taxes easier for all Hoosiers. It will bring together significant Hoosier and national tax experts, along with key administration officials and state legislators, business leaders, and local government leaders to discuss ways to simplify Indiana’s tax code.
