Daily Journal Reports Greenwood Considering Tax Break for Cellofoam Expansion

Greenwood is considering a tax break for a plastic foam manufacturer that wants to expand and hire new workers.

Cellofoam plans to spend about $1 million to construct a new 30,000-square-foot building, and $1 million to buy equipment. The company also expects to create 24 new jobs, adding to its staff of 36.

The new building will be located near the company’s current facilities off U.S. 31 in Greenwood.
