Seymour Common Council will have its final meeting of 2013 at 7 p.m. today and more good economic news for the city is on the agenda.

Valeo Sylvania, the automotive lighting manufacturer at Freeman Field Industrial Park, is investing $10 million next year in new equipment to support business growth, according to documents filed with the city.

That equipment will be needed as the company prepares to begin production of lighting systems and components for 2015 models.
