L&E Engineering Co. has announced plans to invest $3.7 million in its Greenwood facility and create 52 new jobs by 2016.
The company plans to add equipment and nearly double the size of its existing 23,000-square-foot facility at 254 N. Graham Road, according to a news release. The work should be completed by the summer of 2014.
A subsidiary of Franklin, Ohio-based Ferco Aerospace Group, L&E Engineering Co. makes tube and sheet metal fabrications for the aerospace industry.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered up to $400,000 in tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants based on the job creation plans. The company, which has 54 full-time employees in Greenwood, cannot claim the incentives until Hoosiers are hired.
