Industrial Developments International in Indianapolis First to Seek Automatic Abatement

From the Indianapolis Star:

Industrial Developments International announced Wednesday it will develop an 800,000-square-foot building in the AmeriPlex Business Park, adjacent to Indianapolis International Airport.

The industrial real estate company's IDI World Connect Building 1, 6161 Decatur Blvd., will be the first new inventory industrial building in greater Indianapolis since 2008 and the largest inventory building in Marion County. It's being designed to LEED environmental specifications.

The IDI project is the first to take advantage of automatic 10-year real property tax abatement, which was established in 2009 by the city of Indianapolis for World Connect sites. World Connect is an eight-building logistics project located at AmeriPlex.
