Republican Reports Innkeepers Tax Used to Promote Tourism in Jasper County

From the Rensselaer Republican:

The Innkeepers Tax that Jasper County began collecting in January has the potential to not only draw more people to Jasper County for tourism, but help local hotels, motels and those in the lodging business as well.
According to Jasper County Commissioner Kendall Culp, the money the county has been collecting will be used to further promote tourism and various festivals, activities and other events within Jasper County. By drawing in more tourism, the lodging industry would also benefit from the additional people draw into the county, booking overnight stays.
