Annual Public Hearing
Set for June 3, 2014
INDIANAPOLIS (May 20, 2014) - The Indiana Department of Revenue will host its annual public hearing June 3, 2014. The purpose of the event is to offer taxpayers an opportunity to express concerns and/or suggest changes in departmental policies, statutes, processes and procedures to help the department better administer Indiana tax laws.
The hearing will take place at 9:30 a.m. (EST), 8:30 a.m. (CST), on June 3, 2014 at:

The Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights, passed by the Indiana General Assembly in 1989, requires the Department of Revenue hold an annual public hearing as part of the overarching effort to be more responsive to the community’s questions and concerns. The department strives to best serve the public, and requests its participation and input to do so.
Taxpayers also can email their concerns or suggestions tofeedback@dor.in.gov at anytime, and connect with the department on Facebook and Twitter.
Those who cannot attend are encouraged to participate by writing a letter to the department that will be read aloud during the hearing. Letters should indicate that it is for the annual hearing and be mailed to:
