Sealant Company Offered Tax Credits for Expansion in Evansville

SealCorpUSA Inc. Wednesday announced plans to invest $2.6 million to expand its Evansville operations, creating up to 35 jobs by 2015.

The developer and manufacturer of sealants and adhesives will lease a second facility at 1179 Diamond Ave. It will purchases mixers, fork trucks and computers for the 100,000-square-foot space, scheduled to be operational in July.

SealCorpUSA currently employs 47 full-time workers in Indiana and supplies the roofing, automotive, construction, electrical and telecommunications industries.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $275,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $60,000 in training grants based on the job creation plans.
