ITR America Offered Incentives for Expansion in Hobart

From the Northwest Indiana Times:

ITR America LLC, a heavy machinery equipment parts distributor, is planning a $6.2 million expansion of its Hobart headquarters, the company announced early Monday.
The expansion is expected to create 20 new jobs by 2014, according to a news release.
The investment will involved the construction of a 100,000 square-foot facility on eight acres of property in the North Wind Crossing Business Park. ITR is also buying new distribution equipment for the facility, which is expected to be operational in 2015.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered ITR up to $125,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company's job creation plans. The tax credits are contingent upon the hiring of Indiana residents for new-job created. The city of Hobart approved additional property tax abatements as well.
