The Jefferson County treasurer's office accidently sent out incorrect property tax bills last week.
Jefferson County Treasurer Linda Greene said a printing error led to last year's tax bills being reprinted and mailed out on Friday.
Greene said the correct bills will be sent out within the next three to five days. The incorrect bills are printed on blue paper and need to be destroyed, Green said. The correct bills will be printed on yellow paper.
The due date is still May 10.
