From the Columbus Republic:
Most Columbus city government workers will see a 2-percent raise next year, but a few will see a higher boost to bring them in line with comparable positions.
City Council approved Mayor Kristen Brown's proposal for a 2-percent raise for all full-time workers, but also included part-time and seasonal workers in the pay bump who were left out of the original proposal. The mayor also sought raises of up to 7 percent for a handful of specific city officials. The total raise package will cost the city about $466,000.
