From the Vincennes Sun-Commercial:
A study we read the other day from Ball State University's Center for Business and Economic Research pointed out that last year owners of Knox County properties saved almost $3.4 million in taxes because of the state tax caps.
Most of that savings, almost exactly half, went to the owners of commercial properties (businesses, including rental properties), with another $1 million saved by farmers (or at least those who own farm ground), with just over $650,000 saved by homeowners.
