Star Reports Voting Light in Hamilton County Referendums

From the Indianapolis Star:

There are just a few hours left for voters in the Hamilton Southeastern and Noblesville school districts to decide the future of their proposed construction projects.

As of 2:15 p.m. Hamilton County elections deputy Joyce Wielinsk said “light” voting was continuing throughout the day. No problems had been reported at the polls since opening at 6 a.m. Polls close at 6 p.m.

Results will start being announced after 6:30 p.m. this evening at the Hamilton County Judicial Center.

As of this morning officials received 46 ballots by mail, she said, and 633 “walk-ins.”

Voters in the two districts are deciding whether to approve two referendums totaling $123 million.
