From the Crawfordsville Journal-Review:

With the passage of a referendum placed on Tuesday’s primary election ballot, a major building project at Tuttle Middle School is poised to go forward.

Voters residing in the boundary of the Crawfordsville Community School Corp. were asked, “Shall the Crawfordsville Community School Corporation, Montgomery County, Indiana, issue bonds or enter into a lease to finance new construction to replace a majority of Tuttle Middle School and related facilities, which is estimated to cost not more than $35,000,000 and is estimated to increase the property tax rate for debt service by a maximum of $0.6584 per $100 of assessed valuation over the 20 year life of the bonds?”

When the results came in, an overwhelming majority voted yes, and the referendum passed 2,347-603.
