NWI Reports Dyer to Pursue Two Tax Sale Parcels

From the Northwest Indiana Times:

The town wants two out of three tax sale parcels the county recently made available to it.
Dyer has been issued a tax sale certification from Lake County on the three parcels, the Town Council learned recently.
The certification allows Dyer to petition the Circuit Court to acquire the parcels, which are currently in county hands via a tax sale.
The council decided to pass on a small lot on the west side of Hart Street, south of U.S. 30. It will, however, begin the process for a 10-foot right of way in Castleview, and right of way along Calumet Avenue.
