A final vote on a seven-year property tax phase-in for Pison Stream Solutions has been postponed until December.
The Elkhart County Council decided Saturday, Nov. 2, to vote on the company’s request at its next meeting because paperwork for the project was not complete. Pison, which is based in Tennessee, hopes to open a new plant at 28335 Clay St. in Elkhart and hire 90 employees with annual salaries adding up to $2.8 million.
The county council’s next meeting is scheduled for Dec. 14.
