From the Wabash Plain Dealer:
The fall property tax deadline came and went last Tuesday, and the Wabash County Treasurer’s Office reported that 94.5 percent of residents paid their taxes on time.
The office had collected a total of $7,350,848.90 as of Friday afternoon and will now work toward a settlement date around Dec. 1, during which the collected amount will be dispersed to towns, schools and other tax-supported entities.
