Property taxes due Tuesday
Howard County property owners have until Tuesday to pay the fall installment of their 2013 property taxes.
Tax payments can be made in person or sent to the Howard County Treasurer’s Office, Administration Center, 220 N. Main St., Room 226, Kokomo, IN 46901. Those making payment by check can send one check, even if the payment is for more than one property and/or it is for both the spring and fall installments.
Taxes may also be paid at the following banks and branches:
Harris Bank; Community First; First Farmers; STAR Financial Bank; KeyBank, and the First Bank of Berne.
There is a 24-hour drop box located in the lobby of the Howard County Administration Center, 224 N. Main St. Payments may also be made online by credit card via the county’s website, www.co.howard.in.us, or credit cards may be used in the office. Those options have a convenience fee.
