Haynes International Seeks Abatement for $24 Million Expansion in Kokomo

Haynes International is planning a $24 million investment in its Kokomo facilities, city officials announced today.

Creating an estimated 40 new jobs and expanding its capacity to produce specialty high-performance alloy flat products by an estimated 20 percent, the company will seek a tax abatement from the city.

"Haynes International is a global leader in alloy development and manufacturing," Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight said.

"This is a continuation of their 100-year corporate commitment to our community."

Headquartered in Kokomo, Haynes International is a leading global developer, manufacturer and marketer of high-performance nickel- and cobalt-based alloys used in corrosion and high-temperature applications.
