Arcamed Requests Tax Abatement for Expansion in Indianapolis

From the Indianapolis Star:

An Indianapolis life science company plans to establish offices and a manufacturing facility in Park Fletcher Business Park, creating 71 jobs by 2016.

Arcamed wants to spend $1.4 million to set up its offices and production facility in 15,000 square feet at 2701 Fortune Circle, E. Drive, on the Southwestside.

The company outlined its plans in a request with the city to receive an eight-year property tax abatement on the project. The Metropolitan Development Commission will vote Wednesday on the request.

Arcamed makes titanium and stainless steel case-tray systems for housing surgical instruments.
