Finance Chairman James Raben said based on the current outlook, county employees should get a 2.5 percent raise in 2013.
"With these cuts, and based on the projections for next year …," Raben said, "we'll be able to set it in at about 2.5 percent for county employees."
The county has about 825 employees. Their last raise, 1.5 percent, came in 2011.
County officials credited department cuts and slightly-higher county-option income tax, or COIT, revenues for 2013.
