Town of Fishers Plans Three Year Abatement for Debt Collection Company Expansion

From the Indianapolis Star:

"A Fishers debt-collection company is moving into a larger building and adding 140 employees.

DECA Financial Services said Wednesday that the hiring will take place over the next three years.

DECA will buy a vacant 50,000-square-foot building on Visionary Way in Fishers and spend $2.4 million on its expansion, according to the town of Fishers.

DECA specializes in persuading consumers and taxpayers to pay up on debts owed to companies and government. It was founded in 2010.

The town plans to offer the company a three-year abatement on its property taxes if it follows through on the expansion.

DECA said in November that it hoped to expand its 54-person company to meet a growing demand for debt collection."
