City employees will receive a 3 percent pay increase next year as part of the proposed 2014 budget.
Seymour Common Council will take its first official look at those plans during a public hearing on the budget at 7 p.m. today at City Hall.
Last year, council approved a 2 percent pay raise for city employees, including elected officials.
