Raidious Offered Tax Credits for Expansion in Indianapolis

A digital marketing services firm is expanding operations in Indianapolis and planning to expand its workforce by 75 jobs by 2016.

Raidious LLC is investing $780,400 to lease and equip 2,800 square feet of office space in the Morrison Opera House in Indianapolis, according to an Indiana Economic Development Corp. (IEDC) release.

"From ExactTarget to Raidious, the Hoosier State has become a hotbed of innovation for entrepreneurial informational technology companies," said Gov. Mitch Daniels in a prepared statement.

The company currently employs 20 full-time staff members at its Indianapolis office, the release stated, and is adding content correspondents, account executives, producers, videographers, developers and social media managers throughout the upcoming year. The IEDC offered the company up to $800,000 in conditional tax credits, the release noted, and up to $42,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans. The tax credits are performance-based, the release noted, meaning until Indiana residents are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives
