The Crown Point City Council recently agreed to the annual renewal of tax abatements.
Renewals had been recommended after a yearly review earlier this month by the city's Human Resources and Economic Development Committee.
A tax abatement permits a business to pay an incremental portion of its property taxes, usually for up to 10 years, providing it meets expected levels of employment and salaries.
A total of 37 requests for renewal had been submitted, but a few asked for deferrals.
