Sun-Commercial Reports Clerk-Treasurer Promises No Tax Increase in Vincennes

From the Vincennes Sun-Commercial:

With a promise from city clerk-treasurer David Culp that absolutely no city taxpayer will be affected by an appeal to the state for more property tax revenue, city council members say they will consider it.

Armed with financial consultant Ben Roeger, who works with Indianapolis-based Curt Coonrod, Culp encouraged the council to consider filing a slightly different appeal, one that could garner an additional $150,000 in property tax revenue for 2014.
