A manufacturer of medical devices plans to hire up to 60 workers by 2015 when it establishes a new facility in Warsaw.
Micro Machine Company LLC, based in Kalamazoo, Mich., is opening a plant in which it plans to invest $2.8 million to lease, renovate and equip an existing 11,000-square-foot space in Warsaw. The new facility opened its doors this past September, according to the Indiana Economic Development Corp..

The IEDC offered Micro Machine up to $550,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $35,000 in training grants based on the company's job-creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. Kosciusko County approved additional property tax abatement at the request of the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation.
