Indianapolis-based Crosspoint Solutions LLC, a manufacturer of electric auxiliary power units, announced Wednesday morning that it plans to add 75 jobs by 2016 as part of a $935,000 expansion.
The company said the investment will go toward leasing, renovating and equipping a 26,145-square-foot facility at 5511 W. 79th St. It already has begun hiring for manufacturing, sales and customer support positions.
Founded earlier this year, Crosspoint Solutions is a division of Cummins Crosspoint LLC and is an exclusive distributor for Columbus, Ind.-based Cummins Inc.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it will provide Crosspoint Solutions up to $950,000 in performance-based tax credits based on the company’s job-creation plans. The city of Indianapolis will consider additional property-tax abatements.

Indianapolis-based architecture and engineering firm Guidon Design Inc. announced Thursday morning that it plans to add 27 jobs by 2016 as part of a $545,000 expansion.
The company, 2453 N. Delaware St., said the investment will go toward facility upgrades and purchasing computer software and information technology equipment.
Guidon has begun hiring administrative and engineering positions. The company was founded in 2011 by Luke Leising and is certified as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it will provide Guidon up to $320,000 in performance-based tax credits and up to $65,000 in training grants based on the company’s job-creation plans.
Guidon serves corporate, government, health care and higher education sectors.
