$100,000 in Tax Credits Available from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority

From the Fort Wayne News Sentinel:

An Indiana agency says it has $100,000 in tax credits available.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority says individuals or companies can purchase individual Development Account tax credits. Investors receive 50 cents back on each dollar contributed as a credit. Credits can be subtracted from their state tax or bank fee liabilities, and the full amount of the contribution can be deducted from federal tax returns.

The agency says investment in the tax credits allows local program providers to use funds to create or expand programs serving Indiana residents whose households earn less than 175% of the federal poverty level.

Anyone interested in purchasing the tax credits or learning more about the program can contact Jackie Troy 317-232-3560 or by email at JTroy@ihcda.in.gov.
