A Honda parts supplier is investing $21.78 million to expand in Winchester and create up to 50 new jobs by 2015.
Indiana Marujun LLC announced Monday it will expand its 127,000-square-foot facility at 200 Inks Drive and purchase new manufacturing machinery and information technology equipment.
The subsidiary of Japan-based Marujun Co. LTC currently employs 534 full-time employees in Indiana to manufacture service and body parts for Honda CRVs and Civics. It has begun hiring for the new positions that include production managers, control technicians, engineers, line team leaders and coordinator employees.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered Indiana Marujun up to $200,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $100,000 in training grants based on the job creation plans.
